Although small and unarmed, these aircraft performed an invaluable service to their "Big Brothers" by spotting and marking enemy targets for the bomber and fighter pilots. They went in low & slow to do their job drawing dense ground fire in the process. While the "Nose Art" on their planes was small, the contribution to all of us was great!
